The Littlehampton Town Council Events Team are on hand to support local organisations and individuals in the planning and coordination of their own events. We can promote any local events through our biannual What's on Guide and through our variety of social media channels. Littlehampton Town Council also has a limited amount of event equipment available to hire and offers local groups or individuals the chance to join our Community Events Forum; where like-minded individuals meet to discuss plans for upcoming events amongst other things.

A road closure order is required for any event which may stop the flow of traffic on a public highway. A road closure does not automatically suspend parking restrictions like pay and display, permit holder only or limited waiting bays. In order to submit a Road Closure Order application form you must visit the Arun District Council website. A minimum notice period of 6 weeks is required for small events (under 500 people) and 8 weeks for a large event (over 500 people).
In order to hold an event on Council land in the Arun area you must first submit an application form to Arun District Council. Event application forms must be submitted 6 weeks prior to your event taking place if your event has 500 attendees or less, 8 weeks for events with 500 or more attendees and for events over 1000 you must contact Arun District Council as a longer period of notice may be required.
Littlehampton Town Council hosts two Community Event Forum meetings yearly. The meetings offer local event organisers the chance to discuss plans for upcoming events and provides an opportunity to ask any questions they may have to the Council Events Team.
