What is the Sports Forum
The Sports Forum is supported by Littlehampton Town Council and aims to act as an advisory, consultative and co-ordinating body with Sport England, Sussex County Sport Partnership, sports clubs, schools, and other interested organisations in the town. The Sports Forum is made up of representatives from local clubs and sports providers and it offers members the opportunity to share information and express their views on current sporting issues. Notes of its meetings are included within the Agenda of the following Community Resources Committee.
How do I join?
The Forum is open to the public and there are no restrictions to the number of members. New members are always welcome. Please email to express your interest in joining.

The Sports Forum is also responsible for the annual Sports Awards. Clubs, coaches and family members of sportspeople are given the opportunity to nominate them for these awards, which celebrate the achievements and contributions of local athletes and off-the-pitch champions.
The Sports Awards for 2025 were presented at the Annual Town Meeting on Thursday 24 April, alongside the Town Merit Awards.

Hugh Milner (Secretary of the Littlehampton Sportsfield Management Committee)
Alan Pyant (Chair of Littlehampton Cricket Club)
Derek Fish (Former Secretary of Littlehampton Badminton and Squash Club)
Tyndall Jones (Former Sports Goods Retailer)
Sports Funding is an annual scheme for local sports clubs and groups running healthy activities to apply for funding to support a project, initiative or event. This is a new development and more details will be released towards August 2025.
The Sports Funding replaces the previous Sports Excellence Grant.
