Members of the public are reminded that Littlehampton’s Armed Forces Day event scheduled to take place on the Seafront Greens on Saturday 26th June 2021 has been cancelled. A programme of virtual activities will instead take place on the Littlehampton Town Council Facebook page throughout the day between 10.30am and 4pm.

Armed Forces Day provides an opportunity to show support to the fantastic men and women who make up our Armed Forces.

Members of the public can also visit a dedicated Armed Forces Day page on the Town Council website for more information about how to get involved and show their support.

Across the course of the day residents are encouraged to engage in content from the Littlehampton Museum Team, Uniformed Groups and the official Armed Forces Day Facebook page. Town Mayor, Councillor Michelle Molloy will open the virtual event with a speech at 10.30am. This will be followed by a service from Reverend Martin Seymour of Littlehampton Baptist Church.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the event in 2022. In the meantime, we urge members of the public to follow NHS advice and seek information from legitimate sources such as www.gov.uk
