We aim to provide an efficient and effective service. But if you do need to make a complaint, please use the form below to make a formal complaint about a council service. We ask that you read our Feedback Policy and Complaints Procedure before doing so. 

We will acknowledge your formal complaint within two working days and will send a full response within 20 working days. 

We treat all complaints with respect and in confidence. Any personal data gathered as part of a formal complaint will be handled in accordance with the council’s Data Protection Policy. We may share some personal data, where necessary, with third parties where it is appropriate for investigating and resolving a complaint.

Our complaints procedure DOES NOT cover Complaints about councillors. These complaints must be made direct to the Monitoring Officer at Arun District Council. The address is Arun Civic Centre, Maltravers Road, Littlehampton, West Sussex BN17 5LF. The telephone number is 01903 737500.
