Christine moved along the coast from Brighton to Worthing before falling in love with Littlehampton and settling here with her partner in 2018.
Arts are very important to Christine with her partner being a professional musician. Together they work as shared lives carers, providing day share and overnight respite for adults with special needs.
Christine’s first love is nature and is driven by the belief that caring for our environment and people is vital in everything we do.
As a single mum, Christine moved to Brighton with her young, now adult, children to Study the Environment at Sussex University. She’s studied, practiced and taught permaculture design over the last 10 years, designing systems that work with nature, not against it. This identified to Christine the importance of policy and structure to protect the environment and the vulnerable and reaffirmed her democratic socialist values.
