Littlehampton Town Show and Family Fun Day returns to celebrate community achievements

Join us for a celebration of the vibrant community in Littlehampton. On Saturday 12 September from 12:00 to 17:00 the brilliant Littlehampton Town Show and Family Fun Day returns to Rosemead Park, celebrating its 23rd year. With fantastic family entertainment, brilliant performances and a wide variety of high-quality stalls, there is so much to see and do.

This year’s event entertainment definitely won’t disappoint. There is live music from The Juice, Time Flies and performances from local dance group, Charlotte Reader Dance and Ana Winson contemporary fusion belly dance group.

The ever-popular free Dog Show, organised by the Littlehampton Dog Training Club returns, with categories including Most Handsome Dog, Prettiest Dog Best Veteran – Over 7 and Best Rescue Dog. So, who will be bringing their dog down to join in with the fun?

There is something for everyone with Arun Youth Projects laser tag and the Army Cadet KitKar Display Team and a host of exciting activities including bubble fun, art workshops, a magician, a strongman and an interactive Littlehampton Museum stall. Young thrill seekers can enjoy inflatables and rides from Nic and Ben’s Entertainments.

The Horticultural and Craft Show organised by the Town Show Committee promises to please as ever with hundreds of exhibits including everything from an array of vegetables and stunning flowers to outstanding skills in the handicraft section. A list of categories and entry forms are available online or from the various locations around Littlehampton. 

Make sure you take a visit to the bustling Community Marquee; it will feature over 30 different groups offering a range of information about their services as well as the chance to buy a variety of items and win some prizes.

You will definitely want to visit the brilliant Town Show caterers including Southern Countries Ice Cream, Howie’s Coffee, Nic and Ben’s, Taste a Gogo and the Lions Club beer tent.

Chair of the Community Resources Committee, Councillor Freddie Tandy said: “Now in its 23rd year, the Town Show and Family Fun Day celebrates the hard-working community groups, organisations and people who make Littlehampton such a special place to live and work. With a brilliant variety of entertainment and activities also planned, there really is something for everyone - I'm particularly looking forward to the magician and strongman acts! Please do come and join us for a fantastic day at Rosemead Park!"

Please note: There is no parking at Rosemead Park. Parking is available at The Littlehampton Academy and the Pay and Display Town Centre Car Parks (approx. 5 minute walk). Please Park sensibly if using nearby roads, do not obstruct emergency access. There will also be temporary toilets in the park for visitors to use.
