The Mayor of Littlehampton Councillor Freddie Tandy is delighted to announce nine year-old Littlehampton resident, Flynn McConville will be joining him on stage on Saturday 18 November to press the big switch that will turn the Town’s illuminations on.

Flynn has been granted the honour after winning this year’s ‘Design the Mayor’s Christmas Card’ competition with his design of Christmas at the Oyster Pond. He has also won a £50 voucher to spend in a local store.

Speaking about the competition Town Mayor, Councillor Freddie Tandy, said: “This year’s entries were fantastic which meant choosing a winner was a difficult task but Flynn’s design depicting a Littlehampton landmark was beautifully drawn. I will be sending it via email to wish a Merry Christmas to all my contacts who I am sure will smile when they see the beautiful drawing.”
