Coronavirus - Important notice to allotment holders

NOTICE TO ALL USERS - OPERATION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL’S ALLOTMENTS

The recent Government guidance makes it clear that unless absolutely essential everyone should stay at home and avoid unnecessary contact with other people as this is the best way to reduce the spread of infection. These restrictions place a responsibility on everyone including the Town Council to do their best to ensure that the advice on ‘social distancing’ is followed.
Whilst the Town Council’s allotments remain accessible, before entering the site, we would ask you to consider if your visit is really necessary. If the answer is yes, please observe the common sense rules around keeping your distance from others (two metres) where practical and treating any publicly accessible surfaces as potential sources of infection. In particular you may wish to exercise caution when using gates and padlocks and consider using gloves when operating them (a clear plastic bag as a glove also works).

For all enquiries please contact the Town Council via email ltc@littlehampton-tc.gov.uk
