Littlehampton Lives Photography Competition

Sussex day winning entry by Hattie Keeffe-Magan

Each year the 16th June marks Sussex Day, a day to celebrate the rich heritage and culture of Sussex. The day has been recognised since 2007 and as a part of Sussex; we wanted to celebrate the beautiful town of Littlehampton.

We invited residents of Littlehampton over the age of 18 to enter their picturesque photos of Littlehampton captured in the last 18 months into our ‘Littlehampton Lives’ competition. The entries showcased the beauty of Littlehampton and we are delighted to announce Hattie Keeffe-Magan as the winner of the competition, with her stunning photograph taken on East Beach in May 2020.

Judging the competition was Vice-Chair of the Community Resources Committee Councillor Freddie Tandy who said ‘The standard of the competition was extremely high; everyone uniquely captured different parts of Littlehampton. The winning entry is a colourful sunset shot along East beach with a sharp splash of water featured in the shot. Thank you to everyone who entered’.
