Chocolate, cosmetics, and even gin - just some of the advent calendars you will see for sale in the run up to Christmas but there is also a very special advent calendar containing some very special gifts.

The first ever Littlehampton Advent Calendar will open its first door on Tuesday 1st December, giving residents the chance to celebrate the festive season with a little help from Littlehampton Town Council and local businesses.

From a £20 voucher to enjoy a meal at East Beach Café to a voucher for a haircut and finish at Jones & Co, there are 12 chances for people to win a special prize with the other 12 doors revealing festive activities for all the family including a baking demonstration from the brilliant Helen from Free Cakes for Kids.  

Chair of the Community Resources Committee, Councillor Billy Blanchard-Cooper said: “The Littlehampton Advent Calendar is a lovely way of showcasing some of the wonderful businesses and organisations we have in the Town. It will hopefully bring some festive cheer to people. I would encourage everyone to get into the Christmas spirit and take part – will you be one of our lucky winners?”
