Outgoing Mayor smashes fundraising target

At the annual meeting of Littlehampton Town Council on the 16th May 2019 outgoing Mayor Councillor Billy Blanchard-Cooper presented a cheque for £12,012.68p to his chosen charity, Arun Youth Projects for their Creative Arts and Social Club Bursary, stating that he “had been honoured to serve the Town and thanked all the support given to him by local groups, his family and friends.”

The sumraised was much higher than the target Cllr Blanchard-Cooper had set himself for his 12-month term. The funds will be used to enable young people to continue their interests in performing arts, visual arts, architecture and social clubs. and buy equipment needed to develop their skills or pay for membership to groups and clubs.
