The Mayor of Littlehampton Councillor Tracey Baker is delighted to announce Flynn McConville as the winner of the Civic Christmas Card competition. Flynn’s design of a Christmas tree will be sent an electronic card to the Mayor’s contacts wishing them a Merry Christmas. The five-year-old received a £25 voucher.

There were also two runners-up, 8-year-old Lydia Hyam who designed a reindeer delivering presents and Faye Thompson, aged 9, who drew a Christmas meal scene. All children were invited to the Mayor’s Parlour to receive their prizes which included a framed poster of their design.

Speaking about the competition Town Mayor, Councillor Tracey Baker, said: “I am so thankful to all the children who participated in the competition, there were some exceptionally good designs and choosing a winner was an arduous task. I am certain that the recipients of the card will be as delighted as I am with the beautiful painting Flynn made.”
