Street Lighting Consultation Update

West Sussex County Council has recently made a decision to amend their Street Lighting Policy which would see residential areas in the County move from all night lighting to part night lighting. Part night lighting would mean lights would be switched off between 00.30 and 05.30. This system has been in operation in many residential roads in West Sussex since the 1970s.
Currently, Littlehampton is ‘lit’ all night, with dimmed lighting in some areas, but under the revised system, all but the Town Centre and main roads would become partially ‘lit’ between the hours of 00.30 and 05.30.
Here is the list of roads staying 'lit' all night.
