Local artist Greta Marriott’s recent exhibition in Littlehampton Museum’s Community Gallery has raised £400 for charity.

The exhibition called ‘The Joys of Nature’ featured Greta’s beautiful watercolour paintings, and was an almost sell out success. All of the money collected is being generously donated by the artist to Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice.

Greta told Museum staff that she is absolutely delighted with the money raised and would like to thank everybody who visited her exhibition and purchased a painting or donated to the cause.

“This is a fantastic outcome” says Cllr Malcolm Belchamber MBE, Chair of Littlehampton Town Council’s Community Resources Committee, “Congratulations to Greta and thank you to everybody who helped raise such a generous amount for the hospice.”
