Councillor Jeffrey Daws Biography

Jeffrey moved to Littlehampton from Hounslow in South London with his wife in 2006. They have two daughters and three grandsons. He enjoys listening to Jazz music and follows Brentford FC.

Jeffrey’s work life started as a telegram boy at the age of 15 and was followed by a series of hands-on jobs such as railway worker and labourer before returning to the Royal Mail in 1986. He’s always had an interest in politics and after joining the Labour Party became a Union Representative.

Jeffrey is extremely honoured to have been elected to represent the Town Council’s River Ward and hopes to be an active member of the council. I am keen to explore options for the reinstatement of cash machines in the Town and public transport improvements.
