Residents Invited to Remote Annual Town Meeting

Progress Logo

Littlehampton Town Council is inviting residents and businesses to its first remote Annual Town Meeting being held on Thursday 8th July at 6pm. There was no town meeting in 2020 due to the coronavirus restrictions. With restrictions still in place a remote meeting is the only way the Council can ensure that residents have the opportunity to discuss Town matters as they have a right to each year.

The meeting, which is chaired by the Town Mayor, is not a council meeting but an opportunity for the town to come together to raise and discuss issues affecting the community.

Questions can be asked in writing or on the night, the former being the preferred way so that a full answer can be given, you don’t need to attend the meeting to ask a question.

Members of the public can listen-in on any device and view the proceedings via a weblink which will be publicised on the Town Council website at least 24 hours before the meeting. If you would like to ask a question and participate virtually, please get in touch with us on 01903 732063 or email us one clear working day before the meeting. Please note that you must have an email address and either a PC or computer laptop to participate in the meeting.

It will be helpful if any questions can be addressed to the Town Mayor Councillor Michelle Molloy by email or in writing at the Mayor’s Parlour, Manor House, Church Street, Littlehampton, prior to the meeting.

Agendas are available from the Town Council Offices and from our website.
