A Littlehampton shopper is celebrating a £500 cash boost after winning the November Love Local Prize Draw, announced by Littlehampton Mayor Councillor Freddie Tandy. The campaign was launched by Littlehampton Town Council at the High Street reopening event in October to encourage people to shop locally in town centre businesses in the run up to Christmas.

Elan Healy from Littlehampton was the lucky winner whose loyalty card was chosen at random in the first of two prize draws of the campaign. Another £500 prize is up for grabs in December and shoppers have until Sunday 17 December to drop their completed cards into Manor House reception.

To enter, shoppers will collect a sticker each time they spend £5 or more in five participating businesses. Once they have collected these, their completed loyalty card will be entered into a draw. Shoppers can collect their Love Local Prize Draw card from participating businesses and the Manor House.

Littlehampton Town Mayor Councillor Freddie Tandy said: “Thank you to everyone that entered our November draw and supported the initiative. Thanks to your support a further £1,275 was spent in our wonderful town centre businesses. I would also like to say a big thank you to the 19 businesses which have supported the prize draw.”
