The Town Council organises a varied range of community events throughout the year. We aim to provide residents and visitors with an opportunity to have fun and relax at a wide range of activities for all ages, and most of the events are free of charge, so stay tuned to this page to find out what's coming up in our town.
In addition to events organised by the Town Council, there are many other events organised by Littlehampton Museum and other organisations including events at Southfields Jubilee Centre. For Museum events visit their website.

Christmas Lights Switch on & Late Night Shopping
Join us as we kickstart the festive season with our annual light switch on. The High Street will be packed with festive cheer and lots of local retailers will be staying open late so you can snap up your Christmas gifts.
To keep you entertained we have Fire Performers, a Children's Ride, live performances from The Ladies that Boogie and The Edwin James Festival Choir, Balloon Modelling, Face Painting, Card Making for Children & Reindeer Food and Kids Activities with Insight Roteract. There will also be a live broadcast from Spirit FM as well as Artisan stalls selling handmade gifts and plenty of festive treats!
Town Mayor, Councillor Marian Ayres will be switching on the lights at 7:15pm with some very special guests!
Pop-Up Thursdays- High Street
Visit Littlehampton High Street on the dates above and look at the festive themed stalls and entertainment.
Wickmas - Wick Hall
This year Wickmas takes on a Far Eastern feel.
Wick hall will host Wickmas as usual starting at 1pm through til 5pm.
Bring the whole family to this fantastic community event kicking off with their own light switch on in the late afternoon at around 4.30pm. To keep you entertained there will be a Noodle Bar, Market Stalls, a ‘Taste It’ Workshop, Stilt Walkers, Dancers, a Hat Competition, Face Painting, Santa’s Grotto and loads more!
Small Business Saturday - High Street
A day to promote local independent traders and businesses.
There will be festive themed Market Stalls, High Street Entertainment and special offers on too! Spirit FM will be in the Town Centre during the day with offers and giveaways. The day coincides with the Saturday Food and Crafts market in the High Street, selling local produce and handmade gifts. Free parking will be available in both St Martins and Manor House Car Parks.

Winter Wonderand Concert by The Edwin James Festival Choir - St James Church
A warm Christmas welcome awaits you this year as The Edwin James Festival Choir bring you a Winter Wonderland concert presenting the story of "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" with song and narration followed by a glitzy Christmas celebration.
11th December 2015: Doors open 6:45pm Performance commences 7:30pm. Raising funds for Arun Dolphin Swimming Club and NSPCC.
12th December 2015: Doors open 2.15pm Performance commences 3.00pm with tea and cake in the interval. Raising fund for Kamelia Kids.

Christmas Capers - Littlehampton Museum
Drop by Littlehampton Museum between 2 - 4pm on Saturday 12th December to create some wonderful festive craft to take home to your loved ones. Visitors can enjoy making their own Christmas cards, decorations and more, with museum staff on handing creating Christmas cheer!
Carnival Christmas Fun Day - High Street
Visit the High Street between 10am - 4pm for live entertainment and plenty of festive fun for all the family. On the day there will be Stalls, Rides a Tombola, Roasted Chestnuts, Carol Singing as well as visits from Hampton Hedgehog and Father Christmas!
